PressReader: System requirements
The following are system requirements for PressReader installation:
- You must have administrative rights to install new programes;
- For Windows users: Your computer operating system must be Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7;
- For Mac users: Your computer operating system must be Intel based with version Mac OS X 10.4 or later;
- Your mobile device or smart phone must be running Windows Mobile 5.0.
Authorization is required for proper functioning of PressReader. It enables the server to prepare the publications for download to the specified computer of your choice (even a remote one). When you install PressReader and run it for the first time, the software will prompt you to authorize a computer and assign a name to it for easy reference (such as "Laptop", "Office", "Home"). Please note, that no personal information is collected or communicated to our servers. PressReader allows you to download publications on up to three computers.
To authorize a computer you may also open PressReader and select Options > Accounts > Authorize New. You will need to enter your email address (or User ID) and password, which are associated with the account which you created with the content provider.
De-authorization of a computer is necessary if you plan to uninstall the PressReader. To de-authorize a computer, open PressReader and select Options > Accounts > Deauthorize
